2010 David Freese Game Worn Signed St. Louis Cardinals Civil Rights Jersey. David Freese has already secured his place in St. Louis Cardinals history - at the tender age of 29 no less. A local boy done good, Freese captured the hearts of Cardinal Nation with an inspired effort in the 2011 World Series. His game-winning home run in Game 6 kept the improbable dream alive. The next night the Cards won their eleventh World Series title.World Series MVP Freese donned this very "Majestic [size] 50" jersey May 15, 2010 when the Cardinals and Reds tangled in a regular season tilt known as the Civil Rights game. Attention to detail was not compromised when creating this knit jersey. Matching what the team wore in 1954 is this garment, complete with the chenille birds-on-a-bat logo which made the Cardinals' jerseys famous. "23" is affixed on back in two-tone tackle twill and includes an MLB hologram (LH 955484). The left sleeve is occupied with a Civil Rights Game patch. Applied in the tail is a Majestic tag with suspended size tag and Steiner Game Used hologram. Secured in the inner side gusset is a Majestic "62TB" inventory tag. Freese signed the front in black sharpie and inscribed "Rookie Gamer" as well. Further authentication is secured with a Steiner LOA and a photo of Freese signing this very jersey. LOA Steiner Sports. MLB Authentic Hologram LH 955484. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
