2010 Albert Pujols Game Worn, Twice-Signed Charity Softball Jersey Seen on 60 Minutes Interview. Many athletes claim to have the charitable bug but Albert Pujols proves it. His Pujols Family Foundation has helped kids with Down's Syndrome since its inception in the mid 2000's. In later years the organization has spread to help with impoverished families in Pujols' homeland, the Dominican Republic. In 2010 Pujols organized a softball game in the Dominican Republic to help raise money. We believe this "Rawlings [size] XL" jersey was worn by Pujols in the charity contest. The jersey originated from a Pujols family member. A letter from one of the owners will attend attesting he acquired it directly from a Pujols family member. We must report that each participant wore a jersey with Pujols Squad with the Cardinals' bird on bats logo and "5" on both sides.. Pujols did sign both "5" numbers (front and back) in 10/10 black felt tip. Applied in the collar is a Rawlings size tag and fabric/washing instructions label. Pujols is wearing this style of jersey in a 60 Minutes interview, which is archived on YouTube. We found him around the 7:44 mark of the on-line interview. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
