    Description

2009 David Wright Game Worn New York Mets Jersey. David Wright has all of the tools to have his bust permanently displayed at Cooperstown. Gold Gloves, All-Star appearances and top-ten MVP finishes have become commonplace for the all-everything talent. The Mets' favorite son comfortably slipped into the offered "Majestic [size] 48" jersey during road games in 2009. According to the MLB database, this very dri-fit jersey was worn Sept. 29, 2009 as Wright collected two hits, including a double for the Mets. Authentication comes via an MLB hologram (724681 LH) and Mets Amazin' Memorabilia certificate. Undoubtedly, the button-up garment was used for awhile given its remarkable wear. The three-color drop shadow tackle twill identifiers, including cross-hatched textured twill (always a favorite), show fraying and material softness from launderings endured. A rubberized Majestic manufacturer's/size label is found in the tail. Four additional tags are secured inside: "Taper," "Set 4 2009," "+1" body" and "0063" (washed out) Majestic inventory code. MLB Authentic 724681LH. Amazin' Mets Memorabilia. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
