    Description

2007 Miguel Cabrera Game Worn Florida Marlins Throwback Jersey. One of the premier batsman of the 2000s, Miguel Cabrera and his Marlin teammates threw it back to 1997 on June 14, 2007 to celebrate the first World Series victory in franchise history. Just like the '97 Fall Classic the anniversary game was played against the Cleveland Indians, who didn't decide to partake in remembering their loss and wore their road blue alternates.

Manning the hot corner in this sleeveless pinstriped shirt, Miggy went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Three-tackle twill identifiers appear on the both sides of the jersey and exhibit light wear consistent with the one-game style. Lower left tail features "Majestic Authentic Collection" tagging above a strip tag that reads "24 52 June 14, 2007 069". LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
