Description
2005-08 Pedro Martinez Game Issued/Worn New York Mets Jersey. The three-time Cy Young Award winner was shipped to Shea just after helping the Boston Red Sox break an eighty-six year Curse, where he was issued this home white pinstriped jersey at some point of his four-season tour of duty in the Big Apple. "Mets 45" adorns chest in the distinctive blue, orange and black tackle twill style, with "Martinez 45" similarly applied to reverse. Lower left interior tail holds "Majestic Authentic Collection" label with "46" size flap tag below. Team logo patch on left sleeve. Rear numeral is autographed in 9/10 silver sharpie. Little to no wear evident. A smart investment for the many collectors convinced that Pedro is Hall of Fame bound. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
