2004 Zach Greinke Game Worn Kansas City Royals Throwback Jersey Photo Matched to Donruss Rated Rookie Card. The dominant stretch Zach Greinke experienced a year ago put him in rarified air. Back in 2004 Greinke was just another up-and-comer trying to stay with the parent club. This "AI'S" throwback jersey was worn by Greinke during his rookie season of 2004 when he pitched during a Royals throwback contest. We have photo-matched this garment to Greinke's 2005 Donruss Rated Rookie card. The game was held June 13, 2004 and Greinke pitched seven strong innings in a 5-2 defeat against the Mets. The pinstripe alignment perfectly matches that of the baseball card - especially the inner portion of the front "C". The identifiers are created in two-color felt and show wear. A size tag is sewn in the tail, and Greinke signed the reverse in 10/10 felt tip. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. LOA from Heritage Auctions. LOA from Negro League Museum.
