    Description

2004 Willie Randolph Batting Practice Worn Jersey from Japanese Exhibition. 2004 was the 11th and final season that Willie Randolph spent as a bench and base coach for the New York Yankees, and here we offer a batting practice worn jersey from an early season series the Bronx Bombers played against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Major League Baseball held a special exhibition to begin the 2004 season, holding the opening series between the Yankees and Devil Rays in Japan. The electronics company Ricoh sponsored the affair, earning the right to place a sleeve patch with their logo on each batting practice jersey and game uniform. That season marked the first time that MLB allowed for corporate sponsorship on uniforms.
