    Description

2004 New York Yankees Batting Practice Jerseys From Japanese Exhibition Lot of 3. At the onset of the 2004 Major League campaign, the league decided to stage an opening series between the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the New York Yankees that took place in front of a Japanese audience. Here we offer a trio of batting practice-worn jerseys from that series, all worn by members of the New York Yankees. In what was a precedent for the league, they allowed corporate sponsorship to appear on the game unis, and electronics company Ricoh footed the bill with the rights to place their company's logo patch on right sleeve. Batting practice-worn entries here from Tuck, Mann and Wonsowicz.
