2004 Hideki Matsui Game Worn Jersey. His tremendous home run power earned him the nickname "Godzilla" in his home nation of Japan, and has made him one of the most welcome new additions to the Yankee line-up of the past several seasons. The season he wore this classic pinstriped jersey was his most productive long ball year in the Bronx to date, with thirty-one round trippers helping fuel another one hundred-plus RBI season. The "NY" on the chest announces Hideki's adopted home, with his number "55" taking up the rear in the same shade of navy tackle twill. "Russell Athletic Authentic Collection" label in tail sprouts flap tags below reading "48 100% Polyester" and "+2" Extra Length." The "2004" year strip tag is to the right. The jersey shows light but consistent wear, which is appropriate for a star of Matsui's magnitude. LOA from Lou Lampson.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
