2004 David Ortiz Game Worn Uniform. "Big Papi" challenged Reggie for the title of "Mr. October" in the 2004 playoffs and World Series, banishing the ghost of the Bambino with his thunderous bat and giving Red Sox fans their first taste of World Championship glory since 1918. We proudly present this relic from a season eighty-six years in the making, from one of the team's most important figures. Alternate red jersey offers classic Old English "Red Sox" in slow arc across the chest, with number "34" on verso. "Russell Athletic Authentic Collection" label in tail has "52 100% Polyester, +2" Extra Length, 2004" tags below. Signed in perfect black sharpie with "Game Use 04" inscription. Matching white pants have "Russell Athletic [size> 44" label in waistband with "34-Ortiz-34/44-35-03" strip tag to the right. Signed in perfect black sharpie with "Game Use" inscription. Each piece shows light but definite wear. LOA from Dan Knoll & Dave Bushing/ SCD Authentic. Additional LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
