2004 Curt Schilling Game Worn Jersey. One of the most compelling images of the 2004 year in sports was the close-cropped image of Schilling's bloody sock in the second game of the World Series, symbolizing the mental and physical toughness of the Boston Red Sox pitcher who was instrumental in ending The Curse of the Bambino. This road grey gamer shows light but definite use from earlier in that historic season, sporting "Boston" in Old English lettering across the chest and Schilling's number "38" on verso. A "Russell Athletic Authentic Collection" label in the tail is joined by flap tags reading "52, 100% polyester" and "+2" Extra Length" respectively. And, most importantly, here we also find the World Championship "2004" year designator. Even if the Sox win twenty more Championships, this season's will always be the sweetest of them all. LOA from Lou Lampson.
