    Description

2004 Bobby Cox Game Worn Atlanta Braves Jersey. He ranks fourth on the all-time list of managerial victories but first in managerial ejections, besting even famously surly John McGraw with 158 (and another three in post-season play). His number "6" was retired from the Braves wardrobe in 2011, and in 2014 he'll receive an even greater honor, enshrinement in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Presented is a jersey that appeared on hundreds of want lists once the new class of inductees was announced, a home white knit from another season atop the NL East standings. Classic scripted "Braves" with tomahawk adorns the chest, with "Cox 6" applied to reverse in the same red and navy tackle twill. A black number "21" patch on left sleeve is a tribute to the recently departed Warren Spahn. Lower left front tail is tagged "Russell Athletic Authentic Collection" with "52 100% Polyester" and "+2" Extra Length" flap tags and a "2004" strip tag. Appropriate managerial wear evident. Reverse is signed in both black and silver sharpie and notated "My 2004 Jersey" at a strength of 9/10. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
