Description
2003 Mike Piazza Game Worn New York Mets Jersey. While Mike Piazza's career took root in Los Angeles, it flourished when he was a member of the New York Mets. There, Piazza was a nightly attraction who elevated the Mets to the World Series. The Hall of Famer wore this "Majestic size 48" road jersey in 2003. Two references appear on the right sleeve: Shea Stadium 40th Anniversary and "Ya Gotta Believe Tug" (stitched to the jersey). The left sleeve contains a team disc patch and "Bob Murphy" memorial reference. All of the identifiers are created in thick three-color drop shadow tackle twill with cross hatched textured twill. Light use is exhibited. Authentication comes via a Mets-Steiner LOA. Four tags appear in the inner tail: Majestic (softened), size, "set E 2003" and Majestic "0062" cloth inventory.
