2003 Jeff Bagwell Game Worn Houston Astros Jersey with Team Letter. Who would have thought a lightly regarded trade with postseason hopes in mind would backfire to the extent it did for the Boston Red Sox? The team basically gave away Jeff Bagwell to the Houston Astros. Bags comfortable settled into Houston's lineup and never looked back. This summer the slugger's final baseball resting place with be with the greats in Cooperstown. This "Majestic size 52" jersey moves to the front of the line for collectibility as it has an Astros team letter. The button-up knit garment features "Astros" in brilliant three-color chenille on front with each of the identifiers in three-color tackle twill. Worth special mention is the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia memorial patch. Two small stains are visible on the reverse. The jersey shows definite use. Majestic and size tags (softened) are applied in the tail, and the inside has a Majestic "0062" cloth tag. Letter of provenance from the Houston Astros. LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
