    Description

2001 Albert Pujols Game Worn Rookie Jersey. Don't tell Ted Williams, but there has been talk that this devastating Dominican slugger might just be the greatest hitter that ever lived. Now, it may be a bit too early to make such a pronouncement, but if he is one day remembered as such you'll wish you had purchased this rookie gamer when you had a chance. Pujols absolutely ran away with the Rookie of the Year voting the year he made use of this home white jersey, claiming all thirty-two first place votes for the landslide victory. The front of the jersey presents the classic chenille birds and bat logo and the tackle twill number "5" below. Verso reads, "Pujols 5." Interior tail tagging features a "Rawlings Authentic Collection" label with size "48" and "Set 1 2001" flap tags affixed. Wear is light but evident, with no alterations of any kind. Grade A5. LOA from Dave Bushing. LOA from Lou Lampson.
