Description

2000 Sandy Koufax Signed Los Angeles Dodgers Hat Display. Sandy Koufax, a left-handed pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, is celebrated as one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history, particularly noted for his peak years from 1961 to 1966. During this period, Koufax achieved an unmatched level of dominance, winning three Cy Young Awards unanimously-a feat made even more impressive considering that at the time, only one award was given for both leagues. He led the Dodgers to three World Series titles in those years, earning MVP honors in two of those Series thanks to his exceptional postseason performances, including multiple complete-game shutouts. Koufax's career, though relatively short due to arthritis forcing his early retirement at age 30, left a lasting legacy marked by his record-setting strikeout games and his perfect game in 1965, illustrating his precision and power on the mound.

Offered is a L.A. Dodgers hat signed on the bill in solid silver Sharpie. Rests inside a 14x17x6" shadow box (mild wear). COA from UDA. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
