1999 Derek Jeter Game Worn New York Yankees Batting Practice Jersey. Navy mesh jersey dates to a season of great highs and lows for the Bronx Bombers, one punctuated both by the death of the legendary Joe DiMaggio and a successful defense of the club's 1998 World Championship. A remembrance of the Yankee Clipper remains affixed to the left sleeve in the form of a black circular number "5" patch, a number which will soon be joined in retirement by the number "2" in white on reverse. The classic "NY" logo is similarly applied over the heart. Lower left front tail is tagged, "Majestic Diamond Collection [size] 46." Solid wear. The jersey derives from the official marketing company for Yankees game used gear, Steiner Sports. LOA from Steiner Sports. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
