1997 Mike Piazza Game Worn Los Angeles Dodgers Jersey. Dating from his greatest statistical season when he batted .362 with 104 runs, 201 hits, thirty-two doubles, forty homers, 124 RBI, .431 on-base percentage, .638 slugging average, and finished second in N.L. MVP balloting.Home white knit displays scripted/underscored "Dodgers" across the chest, with "31" offset below, and "Piazza 31" on the verso, all sewn-on in blue and red tackle twill. The Jackie Robinson patch resides on the left sleeve with tagging for manufacturer ("Russell Athletic"), size ("52"), and "2" Extra Length" in the tail. Exhibits light but discernable wear to the identifiers and tagging.
One of the best hitting catchers in history, Mike Piazza earned twelve All-Star berths, belted over 400 home runs, batted a career .308, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
