Description

1997 Jim Thome Game Worn & Signed Cleveland Indians Jersey Jim Thome's diet to success included steak and plenty of red meat. No steroids or artificial performance enhancers were needed to belt any of his 612 lifetime home runs. According to the additional letter of provenance for this listing, the offered jersey was on display at Montgomery Inn restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio and given to them by Thome himself.

The home white garment shows good and consistent use with light puckering to the underscored team name and identifier fraying from washings. The right sleeve has a Jackie Robinson Breaking Barriers patch and is spaced off with a team patch on the opposite side. Three tags are in the tail: "Russell Athletic size 48," fabric and "1997." Thome signed the back in black felt tip. COA from Beckett Authentication Services. Letter of provenance form Sports Investments Inc. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
