Description
1997 Jeff Bagwell Game Worn & Signed Houston Astros Jersey. Gorgeous Sunday alternate is a six-button black knit with the Astros' spectacular "star" logo sewn over the left chest in black/white tackle twill and a metallic gold weave overlay. Verso proclaims "Bagwell 5" in triple sewn-on white/black/gold tackle twill. The Hall of Fame first baseman signs on the verso, large and neat, in NM black sharpie. Two other great features of this exemplar are the Jackie Robinson patch sewn on the right sleeve and the Velcro fastener between the second and third buttons. Tail tagging includes a "Russell Athletic 46" label and a fabric content flap tag. The jersey exhibits very solid wear with visible puckering on the back "5" and fraying on the identifiers. A four-time-All-Star, Bagwell won the Rookie of the Year, Gold Glove, and MVP during his fifteen-year Major League career. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
