    Description

1997 Frank Thomas Game Worn & Signed Chicago White Sox Jersey with Team Letter. Frank Thomas was one of the few sluggers of the 1990's who avoided the performance enhancing controversy. Before he was a diamond fixture, Thomas starred on the gridiron while at Auburn. The Big Hurt assaulted pitchers while donning this "Wilson size 48'" black alternate jersey. The heavy duty top has a Nellie Fox Hall of Fame patch on the right sleeve and team patch on the opposite side. All of the identifiers are captured in brilliant three-color tackle twill and show acceptable wear. The tail features these labels: Wilson, suspended size, "2 Inch Extra Length" and "Thomas 97 1." Authentication is secured with a team letter which states: "Thank you for your payment of $900.00 for the purchase of a Frank Thomas autographed jersey from the June 28, 1998 "Picnic in the Park" auction. Thomas signed the front bottom in silver paint pen. Letter of provenance from Chicago White Sox.Full LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
