Description
1996 Craig Biggio Game Worn Houston Astros Jersey. Second to only those unmistakable rainbow knits in popularity is this short-lived Houston Astros midnight navy jersey. Worn by the organization for three years is the rarely found alternate jersey donned by eventual Hall of Famer Craig Biggio. Great wear is demonstrated throughout on the brilliant three-color tackle twill identifiers. The team insignia even includes a little seasoning with gold spackle twill on the star. Captured on the left sleeve is an Astrodome 30th Anniversary patch. The tail holds three labels: "Russell Athletic [size] 44," "95" (nearly washed out) and fabric content. It is clearly acceptable that the team carried over the alternate jerseys from one season to another given their sporadic use. LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
