    Description

1994 Willie McGee Game Worn San Francisco Giants Jersey. Blessed with breakneck speed and the ability to slap a baseball like few others, Willie McGee's career border on Hall of Fame worthy. After leaving St. Louis, McGee settled in San Francisco where he played for four years. Donned during the 1994 season is this "Russell Athletic [size] 44" road jersey. Linking the jersey to '94 are two important patches: "125th Anniversary" (right) and "CSF" disc patch (left sleeve honoring Chub Feeney). Light use is shown with identifier wear on the two-color tackle twill identifiers. Two labels are revealed in the tail: "Russell Athletic" and fabric content. Authentication is concrete as a Dick Dobbins letter, on Giants stationery, will accompany. Upon close inspection, a "Purchased From San Francisco Giants" rubber stamp is barely visible in the lower inner button path. Letter of provenance from Dick Dobbins, San Francisco Giants.
