    Description

1994 Alex Rodriguez Game Worn Seattle Mariners Rookie Jersey. Alex Rodriguez was on the quick path to the big leagues in 1994 as he joined the parent club a year after being drafted as baseball's top pick of the amateur draft. In 1994, A-Rod appeared in 17 games before the dreaded strike wiped out the rest of the season.

During that stretch, he found time to wear this "Russell Athletic [size] "44" road jersey. Highlighting the right sleeve is a 125th anniversary patch worn only for the '94 season while a Mariners team disc patch adorns the left sleeve. Solid use is shown on this button-up masterpiece with light puckering on the verso "3" two-tone numeral. "Rodriguez" is arched to a nameplate. The front has "Seattle" spaced across the front in three-color formation. Occupying the tail are these labels: "Russell Athletic [size] 44," "1994" (computerized), fabric content and "Taper Body".

A-Rod's MLB journey has included MVPs (three), batting titles, home run titles (five) and even a World Series ring. Own a jersey worn during the beginning stages of a career which should end with A-Rod being being touted the king of home runs. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
