    Description

1993 Hank Aaron Spring Training Worn Atlanta Braves Jersey. Home white gamer reprises the double-fours properly discontinued by the Braves franchise the year of Aaron's retirement from active duty (1976). The sight of this jersey still surely made fans' hearts skip a beat as Hammerin' Hank inspired a new crop of players before the start of the '93 season. Classic "Braves" and tomahawk design command the jersey front, with "Aaron 44" applied in tackle twill to verso. "Wilson [size] 46" labeling in lower left front tail, with "93" year swatch below. Light wear appropriate for Aaron's coaching duties. The jersey derives from the personal collection of former Braves pitcher Rick Mahler, and includes documentation paperwork from his family. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
