    Description

1993 Cal Ripken, Jr. Game Worn Baltimore Orioles Jersey. Road grey gamer dates to a season that the Iron Man's fabled streak nearly came to an end. After injuring his knee during a June 6th brawl with the Seattle Mariners, Ripken felt certain he would not be ready for the next contest, but he felt much better as game time arrived and continued his long march. He would finish the season batting .257 with twenty-four home runs and ninety RBI's, good enough to claim his seventh of eight career Silver Sluggers.

The classic design features black and orange tackle twill reporting "Orioles 8" on the chest and "Ripken 8" on verso. Left sleeve holds the 1993 Baltimore All-Star Game patch, worn by all team members to publicize the hosting of the Midsummer Classic at Camden Yards. Lower left front tail holds "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection [size] 48" label with "93-2" swatch and "100% Polyester" flap tag below. Solid game wear evident. Black sharpie signature on front rates 9/10. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
