1993-94 Javy Lopez Game Worn Catcher's Gear with Mitt. The future starting backstop for the Atlanta Braves had yet to make his 100th appearance at the close of the 1994 season, establishing this exciting ensemble as some of the earliest Lopez game used gear available in the hobby today. The navy and red chest protector is emblazoned with Lopez' number "8" and Braves team logo, and is inscribed and autographed in 10/10 gold sharpie, "To Andy: Thanks for everything and Good Luck, Javy Lopez 1993." The matching shin protectors are simply signed and dated. The mask is signed and dated "1994," and the "Wilson" brand catcher's mitt is lightly signed and dated "1993." All pieces, particularly the mitt, exhibit solid wear. A rare full catcher's gear set from the starting backstop for the 1995 World Championship team. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autographs). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autographs).
