Description

1992 Roberto Alomar World Series Game Worn & Signed Toronto Blue Jays Jersey. Hall of Fame second baseman Roberto Alomar was just twenty-four years old when he helped power the Toronto Blue Jays to the franchise's first World Series championship. During the 1992 regular season, he hit .310, scored 105 runs and compiling a .405 on base percentage, while claiming his third consecutive All-Star berth, second consecutive Gold Glove and placing sixth in the league MVP tally. In the post-season, Alomar hit .320, was named MVP of the ALCS and recorded three hits in the clinching sixth game of the World Series.

Home white knit sports seven-button front, blue/white/blue ribbed sleeve cuffs and sewn-on tackle twill identifiers. Best of all is the 1992 World Series patch sewn on the right sleeve. Tagging includes a "12 92 3" swatch in the collar and "Wilson 44" label in the tail, plus flap tags with "Tapered" and "ES." Also, the verso is signed "Roberto Alomar 12" in 9/10 black sharpie.

The jersey exhibits evidence of game wear from the late regular season and post-season, including frayed identifiers, rubbing on the inner neckline/interior button path and wash wear on the tagging. A fine Hall of Famer specimen. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
