    Description

1992 Nolan Ryan Game Worn Uniform. Worn during the fireballing Hall of Famer's last full season in the Majors, this home white jersey and pants were certainly on hand for at least a few of that season's 157 strike outs that further elevated his career total beyond the reach of any mere mortal. The jersey exhibits quite decent use for a superstar gamer, with "Rangers 34" applied in red and blue tackle twill to the chest, and "Ryan 34" taking up the rear. The dirt and sweat-stained collar holds a "W.A. Goodman & Sons [size] 44" label from Ryan's preferred uniform manufacturer. The wear on the accompanying pants is lighter, but likewise features the "Goodman" label inside the waistband, as well as an embroidered strip reading "Ryan 34-25 '92 Set 2." As an athlete who holds one of the most significant and unbreakable records in American sports, Ryan should figure prominently into any fine uniform collection. If yours is lacking an example, it's a problem that should be rectified with a winning bid here. LOA from Bob Case. LOA from Lou Lampson. Guide Value or Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
