    Description

1992 Nolan Ryan Game Worn Texas Rangers Uniform, MEARS A10. Though Cy Young's 511 career wins is certainly the most unassailable pitching record in Major League Baseball, this hard-throwing Texan's 5,714 strike outs is also almost certain to stand for eternity. Just over 150 of his final 200 K's were recorded the season the forty-five year old right-hander wore this home white uniform as a member of the Texas Rangers, ensuring that every one he pitched while wearing it established a new record.

"Rangers 34" is sewn in blue and red tackle twill to the jersey's chest, with "Ryan 34" appearing on verso. "W.A. Goodman & Sons [size] 44" tagging appears inside collar. Matching pants offer a second "W.A. Goodman & Sons" label inside the waistband, where also appears an embroidered swatch coded "Ryan 34-24 '92 Set 8." Wear on each piece is definite but appropriately light for a season that saw Ryan work just over 150 innings. An elite full uniform from a true top-tier Hall of Famer. LOA from MEARS, A10. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
