Description
1992 Gary Carter Game Worn Montreal Expos Uniform from The Gary Carter Collection. This complete uniform from the Hall of Fame catcher's final Major League season came directly from his estate, with unquestionable provenance. The home white pinstriped uniform displays a script "Expos" diagonally sewn across the chest of the button-down knit jersey in blue/red tackle twill. The Kid's identifying "8" is offset to the left below. Meanwhile, the verso proclaims "Carter 8" with a large team patch and the Rawlings logo nicely placed on the sleeves. Residing in the left tail are the following tags: "Russell Athletic 46," "1992" and "1" Extra Body Length." Matching pants have Russell Athletic 36" tag and "8 Carter 36-31-92" stamped in red on a white swatch are in the waist. This ensemble shows nice, even wear on the lettering, numbering and tagging.
