1992 Barry Bonds Game Worn Pittsburgh Pirates Jersey. The entire city of Pittsburgh knew 1992 would be a make or break year for the organization. With Bobby Bonilla already gone to free agency, Barry Bonds knew his time was nearing its end as big dollars would be coming his way. Sid Bream broke the hearts of the Buccos when he lumbered around the bases and scored the winning run in the NLCS. The Pirates could only grit their teeth as yet another opportunity was passed by.

The polarizing Bonds wore this "Rawlings size 44" road jersey during his final season with the team. Who knows, maybe he was wearing this jersey when Bream crossed home plate. "Pittsburgh" is scripted in cursive while "24" appears in two-color tackle twill. "Bonds" is arched atop the back numbers in similar fashion. The left sleeve contains a team patch. The interior has a Rawlings label and "Set 1 1992" flag tag. Light rippling is visible on the reverse numbers. For Pirates fans you could call it "The Curse of Bonds" for it would be another two decades before their team finished above the .500 mark. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
