    Description

1991 Wade Boggs Game Worn Boston Red Sox Jersey. As far as contact hitters go, Wade Boggs ranks near the top. The Chicken Man made a science out of hitting a baseball just out of the infielder's reach on a regular basis. In 1991, Boggs was his brilliant self as he finished with a .332 average and copped a Silver Slugger award. This "Rawlings size 44" road representation served Boggs when he was on the road. Light to moderate use is shown on the button-up with puckering on the two-color tackle twill identifiers, especially the reverse digits. Two tags are sewn inside: Rawlings and "Set 2 1991" (flag designator). LOA from Heritage Auctions.
