Description

1991 Paul Molitor Game Worn Milwaukee Brewers Jersey. During the 1991, Molitor served as a designated hitter and first baseman due to an arm injury. Productive at the plate, The Ignitor hit for the cycle and registered his 2,000 career hit off Bret Saberhagen. He also led the league in plate appearances, at bats, runs scored and triples, while batting .325 with a career-high 216 hits.

The presented road gray pullover is a fabulous representation of Molitor at his best. Displaying sewn-on blue/yellow tackle twill identifiers, we see "Milwaukee" diagonally scripted across the chest, with "4" off-set below, and on the verso in a larger format, plus "Molitor arched on the verso nameplate. Blue/yellow trip enhances the sleeve cuffs, while the tail tagging reports a "Rawlings 44" label with "91 Molitor" in blue embroidery on gray swatch below. The jersey exhibits outstanding season-long wear with perfect crinkling and fraying to the identifiers.

A seven-time All-Star, World Series champion and World Series MVP, Molitor is a member of both the Baseball Hall of Fame and the MLB All-Time Team. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
