    Description

1991 Mark McGwire Game Worn Jersey. A fifth consecutive All-Star season for the burly Bash Brother who would briefly reign as the single-season Home Run King during the final years of his career. This home white Oakland Athletics knit exhibits strong wear apparent in the yellowing sweat stains that are concentrated in the collar and armpit areas. "Athletics 25" is applied in green and yellow tackle twill to the chest, with "McGwire 25" on verso. Green logo elephant patch appears at left sleeve. Proper "Rawlings [size] 50" label is applied at inner front left tail, with "Set 1 1991" flap tag at lower right edge. A 9+/10 blue sharpie signature at upper right shoulder dates to the period, closing the book on a picture-perfect representation from this probable future Hall of Famer. LOA from Lou Lampson. LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
