Description

1991 Barry Bonds Game Worn Jersey. Coming off his first of seven NL MVP Awards that he won in 1990, Barry Bonds continued his excellent work for the Pirates, and he did it wearing the shirt that we offer here. The gray road gamer was worn by the man in hot pursuit of Hank Aaron's all-time home run record during that 1991 season, and acts as a memento of significant historical significance considering the current circumstances -- he was some 600+ homers away from Hammerin Hank's mark of 755 when he wore this shirt. Rawlings gamer sports black-on-yellow tackle twill identifiers, which consist of a script "Pittsburgh" across the chest and a front and rear "24". Verso reads "BONDS" above the numerals. Tail tagging consists of Rawlings size 42 manufacturer tag with "Set 1 1991" flap tag. Fair amount of wear is evident and a hole is found near the left armpit area. Great chance to own an early gamer from the future Home Run King. LOA from Lou Lampson.
