1990 Wade Boggs Game Worn Jersey. The Hall of Fame third baseman's 187 hits in 1990 was second only to Rafael Palmeiro in the American League, moving Boggs ever closer to membership in the 3,000 Hit Club. Here we find a road grey knit sported while traveling with the Red Sox, featuring the classic Old English fonted "Boston" across the chest and "Boggs 26" on verso. The black armband on the left sleeve is in memory of fan favorite Tony Conigliaro, who had passed away shortly before the start of spring training this year. "Rawlings [size] 44" label appears at lower front left tail, sprouting a "Set 2 1990" flap tag at right. Wear is quite solid for a superstar gamer. A great piece to get signed the next time Boggs does an autograph show. LOA from Lou Lampson.
