1990 Dave Smith Game Worn Jersey & Game Issued Bat Lot of 2. Although voted an All Star, it seems Dave Smith may have warranted a little more attention than he received during his twelve year career. Finishing with an ERA of just 2.67 and 216 Saves, Smith was a strong contributor to the Astros for a decade before fading away in his final two seasons with the Cubs. The lot offered here consists of a Game Model and Issued Adirondack P302F Personal Model bat and an Astros jersey. The bat measures thirty-four inches and weighs thirty-two ounces. It exhibits a bat rack mark and a brown stain, and the lacquer over his name has flaked off, but not enough to verify actual game use.

The jersey is game worn and sports the Astros logo and star on the front, along with his nameplate and number on the reverse. The left arm shows off a gorgeous Houston astrodome 25th Anniversary patch. Rainbow stretch material highlights the neckline to shoulders, with additional blue stretched ribbed material running down each side under the arms. The inner neck holds the original sewn-on "M. Goodman & Sons [size] 46" wash tag label. No other labeling is apparent, and uniform does not display heavy use.
