1989 Yogi Berra Game Worn Jersey. Over four decades in a Major League Baseball uniform would come to a close this season as the game's most quotable figure decided to hang up his spikes after four years as the Houston Astros bench coach. The provided home knit gamer is one of the most recognizable styles of the era, with rainbow shoulders and "Astros" joined by a Lone Star on the chest. Verso features a navy tackle twill "Berra" arching above his standard number "8." Beneath the "Rawlings [size] 44" is an embroidered swatch reading "8 89 44 1," indicating jersey number, year, size and set. Wear is appropriate for coaching use. A 10/10 black sharpie signature on verso completes the package. LOA from Lou Lampson. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).

I am completely satisfied, more to the point, absolutely ecstatic, about not only the proceeds but the wonderful professional manner every aspect of my little consignment was handled.
