1988 Tommy Lasorda World Series Game Worn Uniform. "Guys ask me, don't I get burned out?" Lasorda once said of his fifty years in a Dodgers uniform. "How can you get burned out doing something you love? I ask you, have you ever got tired of kissing a pretty girl?" Well, he certainly loved the year he wore this road grey uniform, which culminated in a Series that will be remembered always for Kirk Gibson's game-winning home run and the team's last World Championship to date. This road grey gamer saw action during the Oakland games that October, showing the expected light wear for a sixty-year old manager. Classic "Dodgers 2" slants across the chest in red, white and blue, with "Lasorda 2" on verso. Right sleeve offers the World Series patch. "Rawlings [size] 48" label in collar has "Set 1 1988" flap tag affixed. Matching pants have "Rawlings [size] 40" label in waistband, with embroidered strip to the right reading, "Lasorda 88 1 41-40 23 W.S." A Hall of Famer's full uniform from a victorious World Series! Graded A8. LOA from Dave Bushing. LOA from Lou Lampson.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
