1988 Roger Clemens Game Worn Boston Red Sox Jersey. While he didn't win his third Cy Young Award in a row, Roger Clemens was still on top of his game in 1988. Eighteen wins, 291 strikeouts and a career-high eight shutouts were all realized by the flame thrower. This "Rawlings size 44" jersey marched to the mound with Clemens when he shut down the opposition in front of the Fenway faithful. Light rippling appears on the verso two-tone tackle twill digits from launderings, and there is fraying visible as well. "Red Sox" is expressed across the front in Old English font while "21" is registered on back. Red piping encircles the neckline and flows down the button path. A Rawlings size tag is joined by a suspended "Set 1 1988" flag tag in the tail. Clemens signed the front and chipped in with a "Rocket" inscription. Overall, a fine representation from the Red Sox mainstay. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
