    Description

1988 Eddie Murray Game Worn & Signed Baltimore Orioles Jersey. Hall of Famer Eddie Murray was a superb power hitter, who accumulated over 500 home runs and 1,900 RBI. He also was an excellent fielder, who was awarded three Gold Gloves for his defensive efforts.

The 1988 Murray gamer offered here is a road gray button-front knit with all sewn-on orange and black tackle twill identifiers. "Orioles 33" appears on the front with "Murray 33" on the verso. The left sleeve displays "EBW" in black velvet letters for owner Edward Bennett Williams who passed away during the season. Tagging in the tail includes a "Rawlings 46" manufacturer's label and a "Set 1 1988" flap tag. The exemplar is neatly signed on the front in Mint black sharpie "To Steve, Best Wishes, Eddie Murray, HOF 2003." The NOB was replaced at some point. There are remnants of the original NOB upon close inspection.

The season Murray wore this jersey, he recorded twenty-eight home runs, eighty-four RBI, and batted .284. The specimen exhibits very nice wear on the identifiers and the tagging from the prime of Murray's career. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
