1987-88 Dennis Johnson Game Worn Boston Celtics Jersey. There was nobody quite like DJ. A hard dribbler and line drive jump shooter with red hair and freckles, blowfish-like cheeks, and patented poke-check steals, he teamed with Gus Williams, and then Danny Ainge, in two of the most celebrated backcourts.

But it was his defense which made him truly of his own kind. A destructive defensive guard, he was selected MVP of the 1979 NBA Finals after averaging twenty-two points a game and blocking fourteen shots from the two-guard position. In the 1980's he won two more titles with the green and was the starting point guard on the 1985-86 Celtics' team considered by many in the know as the greatest team in league history.

The Hall of Famer's home white mesh displays "Celtics 3" on the front and "Johnson 3" on the verso, all sewn on in Kelly green tackle twill. Tail tagging includes Sand-Knit size ("46") and exclusive tags alongside "87" and "2"LB" swatches denoting year and extra length, respectively. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
