1984 Pete Rose Game Worn Signed Montreal Expos Jersey. When Pete Rose joined the 4,000 hit club, he did so north of the border. Charlie Hustle's short stay with the Expos produced this "Rawlings [size] 42" gamer. It is common knowledge that Rose had extra uniforms produced throughout his remarkable career. This gamer shows light overall use with edge wear to the anchor stitching and slight softening on the single-color identifiers. The cowl holds a Rawlings label while two labels are in featured inside: "83" and "Set 1 1983." According to the MEARS A5 paperwork, Rose wore size 42 and 44 jerseys upon joining the team in 1984. This is a size 42 shell tagged for use in 1983. Because of Rose's popularity, extras were mostly likely carried to satisfy the heavy demand. Rose boldly signed the front and inscribed "4000th Hit 4/13/84 Charlie Hustle." LOA from MEARS, A5. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph).
