1984 Mark McGwire Game Worn USC Trojans Uniform. The hero of the 1998 home run race still holds the USC career record for homers at fifty-four, a tally compiled over just three seasons as he'd leave the school after his junior year as the Oakland A's first-round pick in the 1984 Major League draft. Presented is a full uniform worn during that last amateur season, exhibiting heavy game wear from the superstar slugger.

Jersey announces "Trojans" in red and gold tackle twill on chest, with number "42" similarly applied to reverse. Interior collar is tagged "W.A. Goodman & Sons [size] 44." Scattered staining appears to be primarily pine tar, concentrated at the shoulders. Chest is autographed in 9/10 blue sharpie with "USC 84" notation. Matching pants hold dual "W.A. Goodman & Sons" labeling at interior waistband but lack a direct attribution to McGwire. Large hole in back clearly spelled the end of the garment's service, but front displays without distraction. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
