1984 Film Worn New York Knights Jersey from "The Natural." The inspiring story of the incredibly talented and incredibly jinxed Roy Hobbs is played out in the 1984 film, "The Natural," starring Robert Redford. Loosely based on the life of Eddie Waitkus, the production stands as one of the best baseball movies to date.

The jersey presented here was worn in that film. Button-front cotton flannel, with blue piping highlighting the collar and button path, displays "Knights" bolting across the chest in an ornate font with "20" on the verso, all sewn-on in midnight navy on orange felt. Meanwhile, a gorgeous 1939 "Baseball Centennial" patch resides on the left sleeve. Furthermore, the collar reveals remnants of a tag and "46" in faded vintage black marker, while the inner rear tail displays the all important "Western Costume Co., Hollywood Calif. 62" stamp in red and blue. A fine display piece in wonderful condition.
