1984 Dwight Evans Game Worn Boston Red Sox Jersey. An institution in Beantown, Dwight Evans played nineteen of twenty MLB seasons with the Boston Red Sox, where he collected eight Gold Gloves and three All-Star berths. Generally regarded as the finest defensive right fielder of his era, Dewey could bring it at the plate too, evidenced by his career totals of 385 homers, 1,384 RBI, plus almost 1,500 runs and 2,500 hits.The offered jersey was worn during the 1984 season when Evans led the league in plate appearances (738), runs (121) and OPS (.920); registered career-highs in hits (186), doubles (37) and triples (8); and recoding thirty-two homers, 104 RBI and a .295 BA.
