Description
1984 Carlton Fisk Game Worn Chicago White Sox Jersey, MEARS A10. Road gray knit pullover displays "Sox" across the chest in white tackle twill on red/blue/red inlay striping and "Fisk 27" on the verso in midnight navy tackle twill. Other design elements include blue/red ribbed v-neck collar and red/blue/red sleeve inlay. Fabulous tagging includes two Medalist Sand-Knit tags in the exterior tail denoting size ("48") and exclusivity, along with two swatches on the interior tail denoting season ("84"), size ("48"), and player ("Fisk"). Best of all is the "6/46" patch on the left sleeve, memorializing coaches Charlie Lau and Lauren Babe.This exemplar exhibits tremendous wear and would display marvelously with a Tom Seaver Sox jersey of the same vintage. Note: There is evidence that the patch may have been removed and then put back on at some point.
