    Description

1984-86 Pete Rose Game Worn Cincinnati Reds Jersey. Cincinnati's favorite son came home when it was time to break the all-time hits record. Pete Rose wore this jersey during his arduous assault on Ty Cobb's record. This pullover knit is identical, in fact, to the one Rose is wearing in the famous photo as he tips his helmet to the standing ovation greeting him upon his Hit King coronation. Number "14" and the team logo patch appear at right and left chest respectively, with "Rose 14" applied to verso. Proper "W.A. Goodman & Sons size 44" label appears at lower left front tail. Solid wear is shown on the knit pullover. Rose signed the front (7/10) in blue felt tip. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
