1983 Bruce Sutter Game Worn & Signed St. Louis Cardinals Jersey. He saved exactly 300 games in a twelve-year Major League career, earning six All-Star berths, four Rolaids Relief Man Awards, a Cy Young, and a World Series title. All of those accolades were achieved greatly in part to that most dastardly of all pitches, the unhittable split-fingered fastball.Sutter's home white knit pullover displays "Cardinals" scripted across the chest, with "42" offset below, and "Sutter 40" on the verso, all sewn-on in red/blue/gold/black tackle twill and embroidery. Blue/white/red ribbed trim adorns the v-neck collar and sleeve cuffs, with a "Wilson 44" label and a "Set 1 1983" flag tag hidden in the tail. The front is signed and inscribed "Bruce Sutter H.O.F. 2006" in 9/10 black sharpie. This specimen exhibits light wear, has tremendous display appeal, and is only the third Sutter gamer we have ever offered. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
